Skin peeling

Patient had this peeling skin on her foot with sneezing bouts. Allegra or any anti histaminics would make skin worse.

Epstein barr nosode and senega were given. There was drastic change seen within a week.

Rationale : Whenever any patient has sneezing or allergy symotoms and antihistamine makes sneezing better but causes another condition to worsen the cause is a chronic viral infection. Assuming this was chronic epstein barr infection, epstein barr nosode was started.

Chronic epstein barr infections infect mast cell, these mast cell release histamines to kill off the virus infecting them. Thus antihistaminics cause worsening.

Changes in vitiligo patches in the right axilla of a 10 year old female child after one month of Dr Tariq’s vitiligo combo and FGF drops.

CLL

A patient with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) started experiencing sharp chest pain located at the sternum. He gave a history of recent COVID infection. The lung X-ray showed bronchitis (perhaps COVID remnant) although he had no cough. His WBC counts were elevated with high parathyroid hormone (PTH).

He was given homeopathy nat sul and cal phos (for high PTH).

The sternum pain went away in a week’s time and his WBC count also started reducing too.

Breast cancer

A triple positive breast cancer patient with recurrent breast nodules on a reconstructed site had lots of pain from one of the rather large nodules. She was HER2 receptor positive. Homeopathy Apis 1M was given as her mental features matched and the pain was stinging in nature.

We first gave a stat dose while she was on her IV drip and her pain almost immediately disappeared.

Later on the dose was increased to BD dosing. The nodule gradually softened and pain also completely resolved.

Endometrial cyst

A 16 year old girl came in with severe dysmenorrhea and gave history of a 5×4 cm endometrial cyst in her right ovary.

I gave her homeopathy lycopodium 200c 4drops daily for 2 months with oral progesterone drops 10 drops from mid of her cycle for 10 days. This was asked to be done for each cycle. At 2 months follow up her cyst had completely resolved with no dysmenorrhea at her last menses.

Rationale : Increased sympathetic nervous system (SNS) leads to cyst formation way before estrogen plays a role

Hallucination

A 28 year old drug addict patient had an extremely aggressive behaviour and used to break and damage his house. He also had bouts of vomiting and insomnia.

His father complained about him hallucinating and he said he is fighting demons when he was awake and breaks things in the house as he was throwing things at the demons.

Initially he started on homeopathy Nux Vomica 200c and homeopathy Aconite 200c and hyoscyamus 1M. After about 5 days his GERD symptoms stopped and he was able to eat. His sudden outburst of anxiety also reduced but his fighting with demons still continued. We added homeopathy Lyssinum and silicea 1M for him. After 4 days he was calmer and he didn’t fight any more demons. He is calmer now and his sleep is better and has become non violent

Father was amazed at what I managed to do for the son, he was in tears. Thank you Dr Tariq for your assistance on this case.

Note: Homeopathy Lyssinum is made from the rabies virus, patients who get rabies frequently get hallucinations of demons.

Arsenic poisoning

I had a very interesting case of a baby with arsenic poisoning, via the mother who loves wine and even drank during the pregnancy. Most of the siblings suffer from atopy or some allergic condition as well. The child had a weepy rash on the abdomen and would scratch at it violently throughout the night. What was left was a deep wound at the dermis level.

I started her on homeopathy ars album diluted to 1 drop in 1 litre of water and gave 5ml of this dilution twice a day. After 6 days the wound healed beautifully. The child was very clingy by nature and history of colics in the past. Hence added the bowel nosode Dys Co as well to help with it.

Cassia Sophera

I tried Cassia Sophera for both my husband and my son this week.

My husband is a bad asthmatic who loves his iced cold water, so he has a chronic chesty bronchitic cough which didn’t settle with most of the homeopathics.

So I gave him 4 drops of cassia sophera and by the second dose it was nearly all gone. By the 4th dose his cough was resolved completely.

My son has allergic rhinitis and is particularly sensitive to milk products and gluten. He responded very well to triticum for the wheat allergies but the milk allergies were the issue. I tried Cassia Sophera as a priming dose and gave him a challenge test with cheese. To my pleasant surprise his nose was just fine otherwise it would run like a tap!

Case of Atopy on wrist

Case of Atopy

Patient presented with atopic lesion on right wrist. Case history on the modalities showed that the itching was worse on heat and better on cold application. This gave us preliminary homeopathic remedies of either apis or sulphur. Further history informed that there is no aggravation from being wet and the patient has a stinging type of pain; this confirmed Apis. Patient was also given the proprietary oral drops of atopy and allergy combo along with homeopathic remedy Staph 1M. Staph 1m was required as the patient had a secondary infection along with atopic lesion.After 1 week of treatment the atopic lesion resolved.

Eczema

A 20 yr old autistic girl came in with an eczematous rash on her neck which required antihistamine twice daily and elomet for relief. Full deworming course was started which showed improvement in the rash but it recurred later. She was given homeopathy Apis and urtica urins. She got aggravation with these homeopathic remedies. As the problem persisted she was given proprietary oral cytokine Allergy and atopy combo and homeopathy lachesis. She showed improvement but eczema was still present. Then homeopathy Morgan Pure and Cassia sophera was given. These 2 cleared up the eczema and no rash was present.
