Case of itching at night

An old patient came with complaint that at night sharp itching points come up and wake him up from sleep. He described the itching as like something was pinching from inside.
He would put AC on to help, it just helped a bit. Problem was since 3 years. He also had a cough at night.

Gave him tablet levamisole and homeopathy sulphur.
He took levamisole first which worsened the itch on the first day but on the next day he took sulphur which helped him. After 2 days he took levamisole again which helped him further. After a week he is 80 percent better and is healing well.

Note :

• His CBC and IgE were normal, no antihistaminics worked in the past. All the best allergy specialists had given up on him.

• Levamisole was given because of the weird night dry cough, no reflux was there, so could not be explained by acid reflux.

• Sulphur because he was better on cold; apis was ruled out since the issue was chronic and not acute.

Food allergies

I have lactose intolerance and am also allergic to prawn. Whenever I take milk I will have diarrhoea and taking prawn will have rashes. Sometimes I also have gluten intolerance after eating bread or cake. Have RA on my finger joints and knees joint too. I am also a hyperthyroidism case but recovered after being on Dr Tariq’s low dose thyroid combo.

I put myself on low dose curzinc 20-0-20, I felt my head very fullness and eye a bit blurr. I continued for a week. After getting advice from Amanda, I lowered the dose to 10-0-10. Then by third week I realized my allergic reaction to prawns seems to have gone and my lactose intolerance also gone. I also find my eyesight much sharper than last time. The joint pain also heeled by itself. Thanks to Amanda and Dr Tariq .

A case of history of allergic rhinits.

The patient came with sneezing and nose watering, he said he is used to taking allegra every now and then. He also complained of a fatigue in his body since this allergic issue started. He would feel tired easily and had poor ability to tightly hold any object. He was youngish…about 40 years old.
The modality he said was that the allergy got worse during temperature change such as movement from a hot environment to a cold AC room.

This was a perfect case of bellis per (patient gets rhinitis when moving from a hot environment to cold with physical weakness).

Gave him bellis 200c yesterday. Today morning his allergy was gone and so was the weakness (this first time in decades he was able to climb the stairs to his house without collapsing in fatigue).

Rash with intense itching

I would like to share a very peculiar case of a patient with severe adrenal fatigue who was exposed to 5 family members who took the booster shot of Pfizer in December. A week later when she came back home she was scratching from head to to with what started as few small papular spots on her legs and arms.
At first it looked like scabies but she did not respond to crotamiton cream and antihistamines and I was rather puzzled. So she was given antivirals and rhustox but the rash intensified. I added epstein barr nosode and sulphur but that still didn’t stop the itch or rash.

2 weeks into treatment she was hospitalised as the itching was so intense she couldn’t bear it. They gave her hydrocortisone for 3 days that only mildly treated the condition and she took her own AOR discharge and went home.

I then decided to try apis and hydrogen as she also had some papular rash on her palms and that eased the itch and rash a little.

Finally after much probing into her history she did complain of a mild burning pain in her abdomen on and off especially when eating spicy food. So I gave her thuja 200c BD to try.
I had not seen her for over a month plus now and when she came back to see me I was shocked. It had completely cleared up.

Seasonal itching

I had intense itching over anterior part of both legs for a week. I get this every year during change of climate but very mild and transient. This time was too intense and prolonged. I took one dose of petroleum 30 C and by evening it reduced by 80 percent. Next day no traces of it. Thank you Dr Tariq for the advice !!

Cold urticaria

A child came in with history of full body rash and angioneurotic edema which would choke him within 5 minutes of exposure to cold water.
Patient has had this repeatedly and was hence scared even in rains to venture out.
Patient also developed increased thirst with gluttony.
Gave homeopathy bryonia with nat mur.
In 2 weeks behaviour changed, gluttony stopped, increased thirst stopped and cold urticaria stopped.

Note : Vasopressin is blocked by cold temperature. When vasopressin is low there is increased thirst with gluttony, cold urticaria is frequent.
